The Registered Nurse is responsible for using their professional skills to plan, coordinate, provide, and document care for terminally ill patients to ensure all physicians orders and the patients specific needs and end of life requests are fulfilled. The Registered Nurse may develop and implement a hospice plan that meets each to maintain dignity of the patient and their family during difficult and emotional times.
