and Reliability group is seeking forward-thinking professionals
interested in exploring a career as a Human Factors
Scientist/Engineer.Our team works a hybrid 9x80 schedule located at
our Research Education Campus with every other Friday
off!Responsibilities Include:Perform and lead research and applied
studies on human factors engineering, human reliability analysis,
and cognitive psychology, including nuclear power plant control
room modernization, advanced reactors, electric grid, and
cybersecurity applications. Demonstrate ability to collaborate and
partner with other government agencies, academia, and private
sector companies to achieve project objectives; the ability to lead
a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers on research
problems; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with
management, co-workers, and with customers; publish results of
research and development in a mix of refereed publications and
conferences; work effectively with other research teams to develop
and manage cross-cutting technical programs for a variety of
customers. Qualifications
- PhD or MS and 1+ year of experience in Human Factors or related
field
- PhD and 2+ years of experience or MS and 3 years of experience
in Human Factors or related fieldJob Information:
- Salary Grade PR0200 - 190 ($70,680 - $116,616): PR0300 - 200
($81,288 - $134,100)
