career? Apply today! Job Description The Naval Nuclear laboratory
is seeking Industrial Electricians to join our Essential Support
Systems team. We are seeking electricians with a background in
industrial maintenance and repair of low and medium voltage
electrical distribution equipment for all voltages up to 13.8 KV,
trouble shooting and repair of electrical control systems, lighting
systems and machinery, perform maintenance and repair of cranes,
operating emergency generators, maintaining emergency backup
systems, follow Company Policy's, rules, and safety regulations.
This position requires: • Achieving radiological, environmental,
and safety qualifications • Achieving Essential Support System and
crane maintenance qualification • Working at heights above the
ground including climbing ladders, elevated surfaces and wearing
fall protection equipment • Work Overtime and Irregular hours •
Work in Cold and Hot environments • Must be able to lift >50
pounds Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill High school
diploma or equivalent and 5 years Commercial/Industrial licensed
journeyman experience and a Current Idaho State Electrical License
Preferred Skills • Industrial maintenance and repair of low and
medium voltage electrical distribution equipment for all voltages
up to 13.8 KV • Trouble shooting and repair of electrical control
systems, lighting systems and machinery • Familiar with various
types of PPE required to perform assignments • Able to understand
schematics and blueprints • Installation of electrical systems per
NEC standards • Able to work individually or as a part of team to
successfully complete tasks • Must have good communication skills •
Must be able to bend all types and trade sizes of conduit •
Proficiently operate various power tools and electrical
installation support equipment • Operate aerial lifts such as
