If so, we might have just the opportunity you're looking for!Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Radiation Measurements group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a technical career as a Radiation Measurement Laboratory Technician!Responsibilities Include:Perform laboratory related tasks as directed by technical leads, principal investigators, and the department manager in accordance with appropriate work control documentation as relevant to the activities of the Radiation Measurements Laboratory.Performing various radiation measurements including wire scanning, high resolution gamma spectroscopy and gas-proportional counting.Routine laboratory and instrument maintenance, ordering and maintaining supplies, sample management and maintaining documentation, as appropriate.Has frequent contact with laboratory "customers" and support personnel to plan, execute and report on work performed in the laboratory, as appropriateTraining, safety meetings, group meetings, and general participation in other compliance related activitiesPerforming routine in nature or specialized and are performed under general supervision.Located at ATRMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma and 1-2 years related experiencePrevious experience with handling radioactive materials and radiation measurements.Eligible for L Clearance (US citizenship required)Job InformationSalary Grade: 150Chosen applicants are required to show a "demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment."INL Overview:INL is a science-based, applied engineering national laboratory dedicated to supporting the U.S. Department of Energy's mission in nuclear energy research, science, and national defense.
