Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) you will have the opportunity to
use your nursing care experience in a uniquely impactful way. You
will provide quality individualized preventive, supportive wound
care to each patient. You will be joining a collaborative team that
values extraordinary patient care and dedication to one another. In
this role:
- You will serve as a clinical resource for the nursing staff and
health care providers to assist with planning strategy of would
care either pre- or postoperatively or ongoing.
- You will ensure appropriate resource management and develop a
safe and appropriate discharge plan in collaboration with the
multidisciplinary team.
- You will be responsible to include direct nursing intervention
provided to a variety of age populations and diagnostic categories,
based on the physician developed plan of care and established
priorities for wound care issues.
- You will coordinate activities that promote quality outcomes
and patient throughput while supporting a balance of optimal care
and appropriate resource utilization.
- You will identify potential cause(s) of delayed wound
healing.
- You will review medication and provides patient education, pain
medication administration per physician order, accurately assess
the pain levels and effects of administered pain medications.What
qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of
employment start date
- Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree
