We partner with our Nurses at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center!Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Occupational Health Nurse you will oversee the facility's Employee Health and Workers Compensation programs. We function as a team and work hard to support the patients in our community and each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:
  • You will coordinate employee physical assessments, employee health files and the annual influenza immunization program.
  • You will assure that any required annual testing is completed for all employees.
  • You will coordinate and partner with the facility Safety and Security Officer to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients, employees, physicians, and visitors, as well as the assets of the facility.
  • You will manage the HCA Premium Credit program.
  • You are responsible for injury management and Workers Compensation, to include but not limited to, investigating work injuries; ensures injury related paperwork is completed thoroughly and within established time limits; works with claims management organization to process workers compensation claims and provide other related information; inputs data for tracking and monitoring of injuries and conducts case management functions on employee injuries as appropriate.
  • You will coordinate and collaborate with Human Resources and the RN Infection Control in the Employee Health and Workers Compensation programs.
  • You are responsible for the annual influenza immunization program each fall. Seeks collaboration with other staff to assure management of this responsibility.
    What qualifications you will need:
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
