We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Nurse Manager of the Medical Oncology Unit you will effectively supervise nursing personnel to ensure optimal delivery of quality care within established standards and targets responsible -for -planning, administering, -and -evaluating -the -operations -of the unit. You will be accountable for -the standards -and -scope -of -nursing -practice. -You must have excellent critical thinking skills to problem solve issues. Our team works together and supports each and cares like family. We are looking for someone who has a passion for providing quality patient care and has the ability to lead, coach and mentor staff of all levels. In this Manager role:
    • You will have the ability to create and maintain an environment that results in above average satisfaction ratings from employees, patients and physicians.
    • You will have the ability to delegate work responsibilities based on team member -strengths, developmental -needs, -and -workload
    • You will have the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of staff performance and implements -training -and -development -accordingly
    • You will work with the Director on department staffing; hiring, evaluating, guiding, disciplining, and scheduling of staff
    • You will have the ability to retain and recruit sufficient and qualified staff for effective operations
    • You will supervise the use, maintenance, availability and charging of equipment, supplies, and services by utilizing the appropriate mechanisms and controls.
    • You will manage compliance -with -budget -and -financial -metrics
      What qualifications you will need:
      • Registered Nurse
      • Bachelors Degree - BSN/MSN preferred
      • Previous hospital nursing and leadership experience -(EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region. We serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility has an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho. We have the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. Our 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults.
