Idaho Falls is a prime location for healthcare professionals seeking work-life balance, with access to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and a welcoming community./n /n/nPACU RN Job Details – Idaho Healthcare Jobs/n /n - Location: Idaho Falls, ID 83404/n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks/n - Healthcare Setting: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), Level 2 Trauma Hospital/n - Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), on-call required (one night per week, one weekend every 4 weeks)/n - Hours per Week: 36 hours plus on-call/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1680/n - Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2/n - Documentation System: Meditech/n - Uniforms: Provided/n /n/nPACU Registered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license/n - 1 years of recent PACU nursing experience (1-3 years preferred)/n - Experience in a Level 2 trauma hospital required/n - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (all required)/n - Clinical skills: IV starts, drips, arterial lines, pain blocks/n - Ability to work variable shifts and fulfill on-call requirements/n /n/nPACU RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment/n - Monitor and assess patient recovery after surgical procedures/n - Initiate and manage IVs, drips, arterial lines, and pain blocks/n - Document patient care using Meditech EMR system/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n - Float to Day Surgery as needed/n - Participate in on-call rotation (one night per week, one weekend every 4 weeks)/n - Provide compassionate nursing care while maintaining patient safety and satisfaction/n /n Apply now to join our healthcare team in Idaho Falls and take the next step in your PACU nursing career!
