Job Description:
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local
contract nurse RN Behavioral Health for a local contract nursing
job in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements -
Specialty: Behavioral Health - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type:
Local Contract - Number of Beds - 74 - Number of Staff – ~150 -
Type of staff: 1 charge,2 RN, 2 MHT, and 1-3 sitters - Patient
Ratios – RN 1:8 shared nursing model - Type of equipment –
Glucometer, office equipment, O2, tube feeding - EMR – Meditech -
Typical Procedures: - Deliver direct physical and psychosocial care
to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning,
intervention, implementation and evaluation. - Provide holistic,
individualized care appropriate to the age of the patient. - Act as
an advocate for patient safety and oversee compliance with core
measures for applicable patients. - Participate in development and
implementation of plan of care. - Communicate the elements of the
nursing process to improve patient outcomes, provide quality
intervention and promote collaboration within the health team. Must
Haves: - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months
of BHU RN experience in an acute hospital setting - ID RN License -
BLS and CPI Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have: - MediTech
Experience - Travel Experience - 1 year chemical
dependency/psychiatric experience or a strong desire to learn
skills associated with this field.
