TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Idaho Falls, Idaho, 83404! Pay Information $1,876 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-3 years in PACU, level 2 trauma hospital experience required License: RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: 1-3 years PACU experience Level 2 trauma hospital experience Description: Client is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU. The assignment length is 13 weeks. Shifts will be 12 hours with call. Generally, the call shift will follow the same day. The nurse will work from 7 AM to 7 PM and then be on call that night from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a day off afterward. On-call requirements include one call night each week from 7 PM to 7 AM, along with one weekend (48 hours call) every four weeks. Coverage will also be needed for Thanksgiving and Black Friday (48 hours). On-call is required. The unit has a total of 13 beds. Patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:2. The unit may have support staff such as secretaries and techs. The type of equipment used includes various monitoring devices. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requires 36 hours a week plus call. Floating to Day Surgery may occur. Weekend requirements are variable. Patient experience requirements are specific to the hospital. Procedures performed in the unit include IV starts, drips, arterial lines, and pain blocks.
