HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Behavioral Health for a local contract nursing job in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Behavioral Health - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract - Number of Beds - 74 - Number of Staff – ~150 - Type of staff: - Day Shift – (1 charge,2 RN, 2 MHT, and 1-3 sitters) - Night Shift - (1 charge,2 RN, 2 MHT, and 1-3 sitters) - Patient Ratios – RN 1:8 shared nursing model - Type of equipment – Glucometer, office equipment, O2, tube feeding - EMR – Meditech - Typical Procedures: - Deliver direct physical and psychosocial care to patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. - Provide holistic, individualized care appropriate to the age of the patient. - Act as an advocate for patient safety and oversee compliance with core measures for applicable patients. - Participate in development and implementation of plan of care. - Communicate the elements of the nursing process to improve patient outcomes, provide quality intervention and promote collaboration within the health team. Requires: - ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of Psych RN experience in an inpatient hospital setting - 1 year chemical dependency/psychiatric experience or a strong desire to learn skills associated with this field. - BSL and CPI Certifications - ID RN License - Rotating Weekends
