Job Details – Idaho Healthcare Jobs - Location: Idaho Falls, ID
83404 - Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Healthcare Setting: PACU
(Post Anesthesia Care Unit), Level 2 Trauma Hospital - Shift:
12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), on-call required (one night per
week, one weekend every 4 weeks) - Hours per Week: 36 hours plus
on-call - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1680 - Patient Ratios:
1:1 or 1:2 - Documentation System: Meditech - Uniforms: Provided
PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN)
license - 1 years of recent PACU nursing experience (1-3 years
preferred) - Experience in a Level 2 trauma hospital required -
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (all required) - Clinical
skills: IV starts, drips, arterial lines, pain blocks - Ability to
work variable shifts and fulfill on-call requirements PACU RN
Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia nursing
care to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment - Monitor and
assess patient recovery after surgical procedures - Initiate and
manage IVs, drips, arterial lines, and pain blocks - Document
patient care using Meditech EMR system - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient
outcomes - Float to Day Surgery as needed - Participate in on-call
rotation (one night per week, one weekend every 4 weeks) - Provide
compassionate nursing care while maintaining patient safety and
