Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process
for patients across all age groups. Documents thoroughly as care is
delivered, following regulatory and hospital requirements. Assumes
responsibility for clinical competencies and professional
development of self and others. Practices in a clinical environment
through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical
skills. Ability to work varied shifts and/or days, including
weekends and holidays. Utilizes good judgment and demonstrates
patience. Employs best practices for patient care as expected by
department leaders. Maintains a professional demeanor at all times.
Works in a busy, stressful environment where practice changes to
meet new patient safety requirements, goals, or objectives.
Computer skills required include proficiency in Word, Excel,
Outlook, and electronic medical records software. Possesses strong
organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage
workload expectations. Exhibits interpersonal verbal communication
and advanced math skills. Displays creativity, problem analysis,
teamwork, and decision-making abilities. Essential competencies
include knowledge of various patient diagnoses and care management.
Must be comfortable with responsibilities including but not limited
to IV management, wound care, and respiratory support. Ability to
float to various departments as needed, provided competencies are
