year of experience in a Progressive Care/Telemetry setting
Experience with charting in Epic Ability to interpret and manage
dysrhythmias Experience with blood product administration
Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse in the
Progressive Care Unit. The nurse will provide care for patients
with complex medical conditions. Patient ratios are 1:3 to 4. The
unit has 24 beds and a daily census of 23. Common patient diagnoses
include heart failure, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, and renal failure.
The nurse will work with an interdisciplinary team including IV
teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. Special
procedures may include emergent cardioversion and central line
placement. Familiarity with special equipment such as BIPAP/CPAP is
required. The position may require weekend coverage. The
