Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Information Management group is
seeking forward-thinking, professionals interested in exploring a
technical career as a COTS Developer/Support.
The COTS Developer/Support Specialist performs application
upgrades, patching (as needed), provides customer assistance when
issues arise, and acts as an application administrator (for a
variety of enterprise applications including Primavera, Sunflower,
Alarm Lock, SimpleK, Empower, Struxure, etc.) in both Windows and
Linux environments. The applications can have either a SQL Server
or Oracle backend.
To immediate manager for:
- Laboratory policies, standards, and procedure
- Completion of work on time, on budget, and in accordance with
- Maintaining professionalism and expertise.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Take necessary action to ensure a safe and secure work
Level 1 - Bachelors degree -8 years experience in lieu of
Level 2 - Bachelors+2 years relevant experience -10 years
experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience using SQL and ORACLE databases.
- Experience installing and patching Commercial of the Shelf
(COTS) applications on Windows/Linux platforms.
- Solid grasp of database concepts and design
- Ability to be a team player and effectively prioritize and lead
- Ability to communicate with both business and technical
Experience with development languages (PLSQL, C#/.Net etc.)
- Salary Grade: 180
