Learn more about Computational Frameworks (CLICK Links Below) https://moose.inl.gov/SitePages/Home.aspx Position Description Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate with a strong background in computational science to work on neutron transport method development and implementation in the MOOSE framework. Postdoctoral research associates are a strong asset to our interdisciplinary R&D team and work effectively both alone and as a team member. They are self-motivated but also take direction from other team members and peers. This role requires writing scientific manuscripts for journal publication, and presentation of research results at national and international conferences and meetings. Qualifications Required: * PhD in Nuclear Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science or comparable disciplines. Must be completed by commencement of appointment and within the previous 5 years
* Demonstrated oral and published written communication skills in English
* Advanced software development experience in C++ is required. Desired Skills * Experience with the Multiphysics Object Oriented Simulation Environment (MOOSE)
