Come grow with us!?General Purpose and Scope of Position:The EHSS Environmental Specialist is responsible for supporting the EHSS Central Services Department. Central Services leads corporate environmental and chemical-related programs including stormwater, waste, air, TSCA, FIFRA, and EPCRA. Essential to this role is the ability to work closely with members of the EHSS team, operations, branded products managers, and key stakeholders to manage regulatory obligations related to chemical management including TSCA, FIFRA, EPCRA, and RMP.?Key Skills and Abilities Include:Bachelor?s degree in Science, preferred in Chemistry or related fieldStrong knowledge of FIFRA or TSCA and EPCRAProject management skillsTechnical writing experienceStrong Excel skillsAbility to collaborate across departments, off-site teams, multi-task, and prioritizeWorking knowledge of EHSS management systems such as ISO 14001Ability to recognize process improvement and efficiency gain opportunities?Key Personal Attributes Include:Intrinsic interest in EHSS, technology, math, sciences, and problem solvingExcellent interpersonal and team-building skills needed to maintain good working relationships with management, team members, peers?Strong planning and time management skillsAbility to distill complex ideas into easy to understand onesAbility to work in a challenging, fast-paced, and collaborative environmentExcellent communication skills including written and verbalDetail-oriented and self-motivated with a sense of urgencySpecific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:Complete the development of a FIFRA, EPCRA, and TSCA program in an ISO 14001 environmentManage FIFRA, EPCRA, and TSCA compliance for the corporation in partnership with the businessLead reporting requirements for the corporation for FIFRA, EPCRA, and TSCAAssist EHSS Team members and operations in compliance with related programsAssist with the implementation of a corporate Chemical Management Strategy?Other Requirements:5 ? 10 years ?of experience related environmental compliance experience?Compensation Benefits:?Competitive salary (to be determined based on experience and other factors)Benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, Employee Assistance Program, vacation, sick time, life insurance, + more); Pension Plan, 401k match up to 3%Drug-Free Workplace?If you are currently a Wilbur-Ellis employee, please notify your Manager prior to applying for this position.
