looking for! Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Nuclear Science and
Technology (NS&T) Operations group is seeking forward-thinking
professionals interested in exploring a career as a NS&T Deputy
Operations Lead. Responsibilities Include: As directed by the
NS&T Operations Department Manager, the NS&T Deputy
Operations Lead is responsible for assisting with oversight of
day-to-day Nuclear Science and Technology (NS&T) research
operations, ensuring work is performed safely, in accordance with
Laboratory policies, standards and procedures. Provides advisory
support and guidance for NS&T projects/programs for Research
and Development (R&D) research operations to include design,
hazard identification, hazard mitigation, administrative
requirements. Understands the engineering, environmental, safety,
health, waste, and quality assurance requirements pertaining to
R&D to assist researchers. Provides NS&T review of key INL
documents related to laboratory management (work control, training,
etc.). Act as Lab Manager and Lab Space Coordinator for NS&T
labs when needed. Act as the Delegated Authority for the NS&T
Operations Manager during their absence or when they are
unavailable. Perform Management Observations and Lab Inspections to
ensure consistency and compliance across NS&T labs and develop
corrective action plans and process improvements for identified
issues. Perform Occurrence Reporting for NS&T. Minimum
Requirements: - Baccalaureate and 8 years relevant experience or
Advanced Degree and 6 years relevant experience - Ability to
obtain/maintain DOE "L" clearance - Must be able to work in a
culturally diverse environment Preferred Requirements: - Research
laboratory operations and regulatory compliance experience -
Procedure development and process improvement collaborations -
Working with multiple lines of management - Working with
