Apply today for our Quality Specialist opening and continue to learn!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Quality and Risk Management Specialist is responsible for assisting with the quality and risk management functions of the hospital with a specific focus on patient safety.Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.In this role:
    • You will assist with data collection, data entry, analysis of data, and compilation of reports in various computer systems and databases
    • You will have involvement with medical record review, chart reviews, data analysis and compilation of reports as assigned.
    • You will assist with the execution of the Quality, Risk, and Patient Safety hospital plans and the development of performance improvement projects or tasks as assigned
    • You will assist with preparation for regulatory surveys and action that may result from those surveys.
    • You will assist with the SEA/RCA process, Occurrence Reporting process, and the Clinical Safety Improvement Program initiatives.
    • You will utilize knowledge and research in the development of evidence-based initiatives.
    • You will identify and develops tools and techniques that simplify work, improve communication and make processes more reliable and consistent.
    • You will Identify and responding to variances in data.
    • You will assist with regulatory compliance (CMS, Joint Commission.Qualifications:
      • BSN or equivalent preferred
      • Minimum of 3 years of acute clinical experience preferred
      • Current Idaho RN License
      • Experience in data collection and statistical analysis preferred.
      • Must demonstrate ability to work well with patients/families, nursing, and ancillary staff, and physicians.This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).The largest medical facility in the region, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center(EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318 plus patient beds. We serve as the region's healthcare provider and serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park and parts of Montana. EIRMC is home to a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only emergency room in Idaho Falls. We have the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children.
