We are seeking two Risk Analysts. The primary objective of the Risk Analyst is to ensure timely and effective identification, management, and handling of project risk through implementation of the IEC Risk Management Program. The IEC Risk Management Program fosters a risk-informed, decision-making philosophy utilizing a continuous risk management process. IEC's risk management process is systematic, analytical, forward thinking, and continuous. This includes risk documentation, implementing risk-handling strategies to prevent or minimize the potential of a risk occurring or to implement risk recovery actions if the risk does occur, and risk monitoring/reporting. The Risk Analyst is responsible for facilitating risk analysis sessions and preparing most of the risk analysis products for the assigned program or project (e.g., project risk model, Monte Carlo simulation data, and IEC risk database). The Risk Analyst supports assigned program or project organizations, but is independent of the work scope being analyzed. Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience): Bachelor's degree and 5 years relevant experience. Experience performing risk analysis for projects or technical scope on the INL site or another site in the Department of Energy complex preferred. Experience supporting Capital Asset projects under the Department of Energy or related Federal Agency highly desired. Experience with the use of Safran Risk analysis software preferred but not required. Work Location: Location will be determined during interviews. Possible options include: telework with some onsite (meetings) needed (ravel will be required) or fulltime onsite.
