The Naval Nuclear Laboratory in Idaho has an excellent opportunity
available as a Construction Project Analyst (PA) for an individual
passionate about project management and being a part of an
organization that practices sound project management principles in
fulfilling the mission of the Nation's Nuclear Navy.
Work tasks will include project planning and scheduling, resource
management, budgeting and cost control, measuring project
performance, risk management, coordination and integration of
project team efforts, communication with project stakeholders.
Responsibilities and duties include the following:
Actively support new and existing projects and processes.
Develop and maintain integrated, resource loaded project
Identify and resolve resource conflicts.
Aid in the determination of priorities of project deliverables and
assist in identifying resources to support those priorities.
Prepare and analyze budget, cost, and manpower estimates and actual
costs for projects/processes supported.
Support control of project/process performance by developing and
reporting metrics, assessing recommended change control requests
and processing if approved, and coordinating the development of
periodic performance assessments.
Assist in developing and managing the risk management plan, report
status of risk, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Assist in development of Project Management Plans.
Coordinate, support, and potentially facilitate project/process
Assess project or program performance and recommend resources or
skills needed to successfully complete the project.
Support the preparation of and may present portions of periodic
reviews with management and stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Associate Project Analyst:
BA/BS degree in a related field from an accredited college or
Intermediate Project Analyst:
BA/BS degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or
university and a minimum of two years relevant experience; or
MS degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or
Job Preferred Skills
Preferred experience and abilities include:
Developing and supporting performance and reporting metrics.
Processing change control requests.
Coordinating the development of periodic performance
Developing and maintaining integrated resource loaded project
Preparing and analyzing budget, cost, and manpower estimates and
actual costs for projects supported.
Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Word, and
Degree in an engineering, business, engineering technology, or
construction management discipline.
Experience with project management, production operations, and/or
production support operations.
A Project Management Professional Certification.
